Testimonials

Here are the thoughts of past participants:

  • My personal reflection after completing a three year Christian faith experience called “Walk by Faith”. This three year journey has been an amazing learning curve for me helping to direct my mind and heart to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The subject matter has been extremely enjoyable but   also challenging. It has helped me to be more confident in my understanding in living a Catholic life,  with a clearer love and appreciation for the faith that I had previously thought I knew pretty much all about. We regularly gather together for social and learning occasions discussing our everyday experiences while examining a particular topic on our ‘Journey of faith’. Over the last three year period, I have discovered with greater conviction the path leading me towards my Christian responsibility with God and my neighbour" - Frank, Year Three Graduate 2015.
  • “I have spent the last three years on a voyage of discovery and rediscovery. I have rediscovered my knowledge of the church today, the scriptures and their contemporary relevance, and the sharing of my faith with others. The discipline of study and assignments has been challenging and the seminars wonderful and informative” Gabrielle, Year Three Graduate 2015.
  •   Walk by Faith has been a great way of reflecting on my life. Through that reflection process, my prayer life and relationship with our Lord has certainly deepened. Walk by Faith has shown me my weaknesses but also my strengths. It has been great to build up a trusting relationship with our group, tutor and co-ordinator. I would strongly encourage you to participate.  Yvonne, Year Three Graduate 2015.
  • “It enabled me to reflect on my Faith journey. It brought about a further deepening of my Faith in learning about the presence of Jesus in my life. It also enabled me to be challenged. It has been a well worthwhile programme, enabling me to become more aware of the presence of God in my life and in everything around me.” – Des Year Three Graduate 2014
  • In my first year of Walk by Faith, I read in one of the set books, 'Our God is a God of Surprises, and we had better be prepared to be surprised if we seek a meeting with the Holy One, (LE.Mick). This has been my experience of Walk by Faith. I have been challenged, amazed and enlightened beyond my expectations as I have grown both in my spiritual life and in my knowledge of the church. I recommend the course to everyone who takes Christian life seriously. - Kath, Year Three Graduate.
